INTEGRATIVE & MINDFUL PSYCHOTHERAPY
About My Practice
Effective therapy requires clinical expertise, genuine human connection, and a guiding framework.
My work rests on a foundation of evidence-based approaches, prioritizes the quality of the therapeutic relationship, and is guided by mindfulness as a way of relating to experience that permeates the entire process.
MY STORY
What Brought Me to This Work
I've always been drawn to what drives people beneath the surface—the patterns, contradictions, and quiet struggles that shape how we move through our lives.
In my early twenties, I had my first encounters with both therapy and concepts related to mindfulness and Eastern philosophy. Over time, I realized these weren't separate pursuits but deeply interconnected. That integration became the foundation of my worldview.
It's not enough to gain insight into why we do what we do. We also need to shift how we hold our thoughts, emotions, and stories about ourselves.
This understanding shapes how I listen, what I notice, and how I guide the therapeutic process. What began as my own path toward clarity and stability now informs how I help others navigate anxiety, self-doubt, relational patterns, and the deeper questions of meaning and purpose.
My Values
-
Integrity
I am committed to ethical standards, ongoing professional development, and practicing within my scope. I stay current with research and approach each therapeutic relationship with care and clinical rigor.
-
Connection
The quality of the therapeutic relationship profoundly shapes the process. I prioritize creating an environment where you feel safe enough to engage fully without fear of judgment or misunderstanding.
-
Mindfulness
Mindfulness provides a steady orientation that cultivates presence, clarity, and balance. I bring these qualities to every session and support you in cultivating them within yourself.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Mindfulness as an Orientation
While many therapists incorporate mindfulness as a technique for relaxation or stress reduction, it functions differently here. More than a supplemental tool, it's a foundational principle.
Rather than trying to change or “stop” difficult thoughts or emotions, you develop a fundamentally different relationship with them. You learn to observe your internal experience with awareness and curiosity, recognizing thoughts as mental events rather than absolute truths, and emotions as temporary states rather than fixed identities.
This shift changes everything.
When you stop identifying so completely with your anxiety, self-criticism, or relational patterns, you create space to respond with intention rather than react out of habit. This becomes something you carry forward, allowing the work we do to continue evolving in your life long after our time together ends.
Professional Background
Effective practice requires both solid clinical training and a commitment to ongoing growth. My credentials reflect the foundation of my practice and my dedication to providing care that is thoughtful, informed, and grounded in integrity.
