VIRTUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR INDIVIDUALS & COUPLES
My Services
I provide psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples in New York, New Jersey, and Florida through secure telehealth. My approach is integrative and mindfulness-informed, drawing from multiple evidence-based frameworks to create a therapeutic process that addresses the whole of your experience.
THE FRAMEWORK
An Integrative Approach
Effective therapy requires more than one element in isolation. Insight without practical tools can leave you stuck in analysis. Strategies without self-understanding can feel hollow or short-lived. Support without depth may validate your experience but not help you transform it.
I draw from the following perspectives to create a therapeutic process that is both cohesive and comprehensive:
-
We explore underlying patterns, early relational experiences, and the internal dynamics that shape your emotional life. This work helps you understand why certain thoughts, feelings, and behaviors persist, even when they no longer serve you.
This approach may include:
• Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
• Object Relations Theory
• Attachment-Based Therapy -
The therapeutic relationship becomes a space where you can be fully seen without judgment. This environment of safety and genuine attunement allows for exploration, self-acceptance, and the confidence to engage more authentically.
This approach may include:
• Person-Centered Therapy
• Existential Therapy
• Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) -
We identify practical strategies to help you respond differently to thoughts and feelings in your daily life. You learn to recognize unhelpful patterns and build new responses. This translates insight into concrete action, creating real-world change.
This approach may include:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Behavioral Activation
• Cognitive Restructuring -
These contemporary approaches integrate cognitive-behavioral principles with mindfulness, emphasizing changing your relationship with difficult experiences rather than trying to eliminate them.
This approach may include:
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
THE GUIDING PRINCIPLE
Mindfulness as the Lens
Underlying all of these frameworks is an orientation of mindfulness. Mindfulness teaches you to observe your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment, bringing greater presence, awareness, and intention to the entire therapeutic process.
Mindful psychotherapy integrates concepts and practices from Eastern traditions with evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Mindfulness and psychotherapy, combined in this way, allow for deep self-awareness and lasting psychological change.
Over time, mindfulness extends far beyond what happens in session and becomes a way of being.
Therapy for Individuals
Therapy for individuals is a collaborative process focused on understanding what drives your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and developing the capacity to respond to them with greater awareness and intention.
-
Adults who are self-aware and motivated to engage deeply in therapy. You may have tried managing concerns on your own but find that these efforts are no longer creating the shifts you're seeking.
