VIRTUAL THERAPY FOR ADULTS IN NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY & FLORIDA
Therapy for Individuals
A collaborative process focused on understanding what drives your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and developing the capacity to respond to them with greater awareness and intention.
You want to feel better and know how to handle what’s happening.
Anxiety or panic may be interfering with your work, sleep, or relationships. You might be second-guessing a decision, struggling to express yourself with someone close to you, or finding it harder to manage stress than it used to be. You want to make sense of what you’re feeling and find ways to cope that help in your day-to-day life.
You may notice that…
Reassurance helps for a little while, but your mind returns to what might go wrong.
A change in plans leaves you anxious and makes it hard to settle back into your day.
You hold back what you want to say, then feel overwhelmed when tension builds.
You take criticism to heart and begin questioning your abilities or your worth.
Individual therapy can help you feel steadier in difficult moments, trust your judgment, and build healthier relationships.

Is individual therapy right for you?
Individual therapy with me is active, collaborative, and shaped by a contemplative perspective.
If you’re looking for an active, collaborative therapist, we may be a good fit. I ask questions, offer perspective, and bring in practical strategies while making room for reflection. I welcome your feedback about what helps, and we can adjust our focus as your needs change.
My contemplative approach does not require you to meditate or share any particular beliefs. It shapes the attention I bring to our work and how we explore your relationship with difficult experiences. During a free consultation, we can talk about what you’re looking for and whether this approach feels right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
We’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change, and anything that would help me understand your experience. You don’t need to have it all figured out before we meet. We’ll begin identifying a focus for our work together.
-
That depends on what you’re working through and what you want from therapy. Some people come with a specific concern, while others want more time to explore longstanding patterns. We’ll check in about your goals as we go and adjust the work to fit your needs.
-
I’m an out-of-network provider. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be reimbursed for part of the session fee. I can verify your benefits before we begin and submit claims on your behalf, or provide a monthly superbill if you prefer.
